Permitted Development Rights

Jomas were commissioned to produce desk study and ground investigation reports to support a Permitted Developments Right – Prior Notification Application for the site at Elton Way, Watford.

A Remediation Strategy Report was also required.* 

Jomas successfully obtained sign off from Hertsmere Borough Council for the Land Contamination Assessments.

This related to the ‘Prior Approval’ application for the proposed change of use from office (Class B1) to residential (Class C3) to provide 44 residential dwellings, comprising 40 one bedroom flats and 4 two bedroom flats.

Jomas Associates were commissioned to produce a Phase 1 Land Contamination Assessment to support a Prior Approval Submission.

Within a week of being instructed, Jomas were able to undertake a site walkover, and produce a comprehensive desk study report to address concerns raised by the Local Planning Authority.
Our report was turned around within a matter of days to meet the deadline

Slough Borough Council subsequently approved the conversion of the offices to residential use.
